To Gnomes are made from a clay, and then it is poured into molds. After that, they will mold it and shape it into different sizes and allow it to dry and then they will place it in a hot oven until it gets hard. Once it’s hard and cooled down, they will paint and decorate the mold gnome according to the desired detail.

The garden gnome statues are usually males. It has a long red hat and white long beards. They usually wear a yellow vest and red pants with matching funny big shoes. It is usually placed at the corner, where the big trees are located or under a waterfall if the garden has one. But of course it depends on the owner where he or she wants to put it.
The garden gnome statues became so popular that even the pranks would steal it. They call those pranks as Gnome hunters. The gnome hunters would usually steal it and ship it into various countries. In fact there is news about a prank that was caught for stealing hundreds of gnomes.
